Celebrate Al Fresco Dining
We are quite lucky and proud to feature Chef Kelly for this event. Her restaurant specializes in farm fresh regional cuisine with Mediterranean accents.
This limited-seating event is a celebration of Al Fresco dining onboard the Schooner Boyd N. Sheppard.
This festive feast will also mark Primo's 20th anniversary in Rockland, as what Chef Kelly calls a "Full Circle Kitchen:" the ultimate farm to table experience.

July is peak season, both for sailing and for eating; it's a particularly vibrant time for produce sourced from local farms and a very desirable time to enjoy a relaxed sail on the coast of Maine.
Seasonal to the moment, it is Primo's farm and gardens that make the incredible ever-changing menu. With two greenhouses and acres of produce, each day's harvest includes: honey, fruits, veggies, eggs, edible flowers, micro-greens, fresh chicken and house-cured and smoked meats.
Come celebrate Primo’s 20th year
in a limited seating dining experience.
What is not grown at the restaurant comes from other local and sustainable farms that owner Chef Melissa Kelly is proud to support.
Dinner guests can expect dishes featuring fresh seafood as well as meat and veggie options, cooked out of the galley's wood-fired cast iron stove aboard Boyd N Sheppard.
This dinner cruise is designed to be a very special experience - we hope you will be able to set sail with us to enjoy the rare combined treat of Chef Kelly's cooking and time aboard our charming 1886 schooner.
Meliisa Kelly is the 2013 James Beard Foundation Award winner of the American Express Best Chef: Northeast Award. She also received this award in 1999, making her the first 2-time winner of the same award. She was also named Best Chef in Maine by Downeast Magazine in 2014.
